This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of unique students who are excited to learn every day! Many of my students are English language learners and have limited exposure to English at home, so as their teacher it is a privilege to enrich their learning as much as possible. Many of my students come from low income families, therefore the supplies and resources that they have access to are limited.

As a teacher it is my responsibility to make sure that my students get both a character education plus a rich instructional education. Our school is a place that embraces all students for who they are and tries to give them opportunities that they normally would not have.

My Project

The chromebooks will help my students in all subject areas. In reading, they will help them access hundreds of online books that they would not have access to otherwise. These chromebooks will also allow my students to research topics for their writing and science projects.

These chromebooks will help support my students by allowing them to access computer programs that will support them on their educational journey to becoming 21st century learners.

These children do not have access to many resources and with these computers they will be given access to a world that they would otherwise not have access to.
