I am teaching a 4th grade self contained class of 12 children. All my students are unique in their own way. Every one of these children have a different need and different style of learning. As a whole they benefit from a variety of learning styles, such as hand-on learning, visual aides, auditory, etc.
Every student is creative, inquisitive, and ready to learn.
To help them be the best learners they can be, I want them to be able to have access to books on or above their levels as well as materials so meet each of their needs.
My Project
In a classroom, books are essential. They allow students to be exposed to different worlds, knowledge, ideas, and so much more. Within my classroom, my students are all reading at different levels, so having a variety of leveled books can assist them in their reading journey.
Every student has a reading goal in which they want to achieve by the end of the year, whether it's reading at a certain level or being able to read a certain book.
In order to help them achieve their goals, they need to have access to books on every level. Being able to fill our classroom library with a variety books to accommodate all of my student's levels will be the greatest gift of all.
