My Project

My students love hands-on science. I love to see them getting excited about something new that can lead them down a career path that they never even knew existed. My students see and know about the Moon and stars but they have taken them for granted. For this lesson, students will construct their very own Galileoscope and then take it out to view and research the skies. Students should be able to talk about Astronomy and Aerospace based careers from this lesson. They will observe the skies and bring back what they have learned or discovered to share with the class!
