Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class is a diverse group of students who are ready to learn. Our school is constantly using new ways to conserve energy and sharing information to our students on the subject. To share information, my class is broken down into small learning groups. My student groups need supports that help them share their thinking. My students are very excited about coming to the board and presenting their knowledge to the class. With this easel, my students will be able to reach and write their ideas to group peers.
This easel will allow students to lead the group in presenting more ways to conserve energy and share their thinking on "Sun Up Sun Down" climate activities.
This cart itself is made of bamboo, which is a renewable resource that grows quickly and absorbs carbon, unlike steel, which produces carbon. The easel will help my challenged learners work together and communicate with each other in close proximity. My students enjoy the close attention when working together in small groups. Help me boost my students' self-esteem as we grow to become more energy-efficient learners.
