Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In special education, students with IEPs each have individualized goals to make progress on, in addition to progressing with their general education classes. My hope is to get my students more involved with and more aware of their individualized IEP goals. These materials will make the initial organization of this easier for me and it will make keeping their paperwork organized easier for the students. My goal is to empower my students to take charge of their learning outcomes and help them take ownership of their own progress. As my students get older and closer to graduating high school, it is important that they grow to be more accountable and responsible for their goals.
