This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students inspire me daily. They are 35 of the most enthusiastic, energetic, and curious students I have had the pleasure of teaching. They are highly energetic and bring enthusiasm to everything they do. I am amazed daily how inquisitive they can be.
They are my inspiration when creating challenging and thought provoking lessons.
The use of technology within the classroom will allow me to address their learning styles and needs. My students find a way to amaze me daily, I am fortunate to be their teacher and hope to impact their lives as they have impacted mine!
My Project
At least a third of the students in our class do not have access to technology and internet services. My classroom lessons are technology-rich in order to address students individual needs. However, some children are unable to reach these valuable resources.
Your donation of the Amazon Fire 7 Tablets would allow every child daily access to technology resources and address the different learning styles within our classroom.
I could use programs such as Quizlet to create flash cards that could address certain learning styles and teach study skills. I could reinforce concepts using programs such as Kahoot. Students could also use interactive programs such as Prodigy where students can apply what has been learned as well as review difficult concepts. It would allow us to take advantage of the resources/programs available to us that would facilitate learning for all students within our classroom community. It is imperative that all students are afforded the same opportunities for learning and growth!
