Re-Stocking Our Bathroom

My students need a change of clothes for when there are accidents, zip lock bags to store hygiene products, and storage for their clothes and diapers.

My Students

I am a teacher in a special education classroom in a Title 1 school. The students at our school come from mostly low-income households that do not have much to spare for the classroom environment.

My students are all special individuals that deserve every opportunity as any other student in the school.

Each student has many needs that differ from student to student. I want to provide as much for them as I can, but I am limited in what I am able to do for the class.

My Project

I submitted a project before school started to help save our classroom bathroom. Thanks to many donors, the project was funded! Now that we have these supplies, it has made our life so much easier. Now I am asking for help to keep our bathroom stocked with the supplies we need. We received the baskets, but need a shelving unit to hold them. We received the diaper pail, but we need more trash bags to fit in it to hold our dirty diapers. We received our hygiene supplies, but we need bags to keep them organized and separate. In addition to these supplies that need to be re-stocked, we also need a few pairs of shorts to use for when our students have accidents. It happens quite often, and it has been very difficult to find another pair of pants or shorts to fit.
