Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students will be starting their recycling unit next week. These tangible toys will help to keep my students engaged while learning about recycling. They will develop sorting and classification skills while using these toys which in turn will make the learning process more relatable and meaningful.
My students are very curious and love to use toys that have a cause and effect.
I can’t wait to see how their new skills for recycling transfer to their everyday life especially during snack time. I look forward to seeing how well they learn to recycle materials in their everyday life.
