This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our elementary school, we are re-vamping our spectacular special education Autism programs. Our students are working hard on reading, writing, math, science, social skills, and their individual IEP goals. They also love activities involving sensory integration, fun movement breaks, and arts and crafts.
Some of the supplies, materials, and tools that I have requested to help support our students and their education include: sand and water activity tubs, scoop rockers for flexible seating, a Hot Wheels Track Set, magnetic letters, and more!
Our students are fantastic and super special kids who are on their way to becoming independent learners. Thank you for all of your support, kindness, and generosity of this amazing program!
