My Students

My students are first grade students.

They are full of life and eager to learn. Most of my students are still in the beginning stages of learning how to read. I currently have twenty-one students in my homeroom class and nineteen students in my reading class.

My Project

My students will use the online subscription to Raz-Kids as a way to help them learn to read and understand what they have read. They will use raz-kids.com when they are on the iPad during our small group work stations. My students will also have access to Raz-Kids in the morning and when they have finished their work. Raz-kids will also allow for my students to read online at home through their own unique log-ins. Raz-Kids will also provide me with individualized data about how my students are doing, which will help me plan instruction on what my students need help with in reading.

This project will help my students become better readers and thinkers.

It will provide them with another type of reading when they are reading on the computer or iPad. I want all of my students to become successful readers!
