My project needs a digital camcorder and a camera bag.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. J.'s classroom raised $350
This project is fully funded
I teach a Pre-Algebra course to ninth graders in our academy program. Our school is located in a rural and economically impoverished community.
My students are very enthusiastic about learning math and deserve innovative learning experiences. To create a fun, interactive lesons, I will need a camcorder and bag. For this project, students will compose and perform rap songs that incorporate math vocabulary words. The purpose of the project is to build students' knowledge, understanding and application of math language. Rapping will provide an exciting learning experience that will reinforce key vocabulary and concepts. Student volunteers will videotape the class rapping math beats. The resources needed for this project are a camcorder and bag. Please help to inspire our freshmen to learn math vocabulary in a fun and upbeat manner using rapping as an instructional tool.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
