This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing! The school we are at is a Title I school in Arizona. We have a fantastic administration, wonderful teammates, and the best students! My students are very hard workers and also know how to have fun. I wouldn't trade them for anything. I love seeing their faces every morning.

My students have a desire to learn.

They always want to know more, learn more, do more, and read more of everything. Our classroom is our own little family.

My Project

There are a few random classroom needs that have arisen this year. All except four of our clipboards have had to be thrown away, due to chipping and having sharp edges.

When students come to the rug for a lesson, if they have a carpet spot, it saves so much time!

Our carpet spots are run down from years of use.

I also have some "bouncy" students in my class, that would benefit from the fidget chair bands to help them stay focused during a lesson. During those lessons, we almost always use our white boards. Our white board erasers have started to fall apart from being used so much. Lastly, our "sharp" pencil bucket has accidentally poked students on multiple occasions. The pencil dispenser will help to prevent this from happening.
