My Students
Our school is part of the VILS (Verizon Innovating Learning School) program and we strive to bridge the gap between the digital divide. As a Title I school, we focus on bringing the students in to the foreground to help provide the backbone tech support for our school. "Be Safe, Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be a Ram!", is our creed, and we strive to live up to it.
We review, repair, setup, and deliver success in the tech world for our School.
From accidental damage to, well, fixing what we intentionally break, we are always able to improve our skills and give the best support to our community. Our school community is ver diverse, about 60% Asian, 12% Hispanic, 8% Caucasian, and 4% African American, and 16% other, plus over 35% English Language Learners and over 70% receive free or reduced-price lunch.
My Project
The Student Tech Team will be making tech tutorial videos for our school. They need the basic tools to be able to hone in their skills and learn the basic industry standard of being a PC Technician.
Creativity comes from passion and we find our passion in our Student Tech Team.
Technicians, Analysts, Photographers, Videographers, Script writers, Graphic Art Designers, Warehouse Techs, Data Entry Techs, Supervisors, Managers, and the list goes on. My students will have a clear path to their careers. They choose what they want to learn, and find out what they are made of.
