This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

For our upcoming pep rally, I plan to use a variety of school-themed giveaways such as rubber bracelets, pop-its, necklaces, sunglasses, and stress balls to engage and excite students. These items will be handed out during the event as a way to boost school spirit and reward participation. The rubber bracelets and pop-its are fun, tactile items that will encourage students to interact with their peers and share their excitement. The sunglasses and necklaces will create a sense of unity, allowing everyone to wear their school pride in a visible way. The stress balls will also offer students a fun way to relax and focus, enhancing their overall pep rally experience.

The items I am requesting will play a crucial role in motivating and engaging students.

Rubber bracelets and pop-its offer sensory stimulation that can help students stay focused, while also being a tangible reminder of their involvement in the rally. The fun accessories, like sunglasses and necklaces, will create a sense of community and belonging, making students feel like they are part of something bigger. All of these items will provide a way to link school spirit with hands-on learning, making the experience more enjoyable and memorable.

My goal is to foster a sense of excitement, pride, and unity among students. This pep rally is not only about celebrating school spirit but also about providing students with an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and feel valued. My students are incredibly special because they bring a unique energy to every event. Many of them thrive when given hands-on opportunities to participate and engage with their peers. These giveaways will serve as positive reinforcement, helping to create an inclusive atmosphere where every student feels appreciated and encouraged to contribute.
