Whew! This year has been busy! We have a new reading curriculum and are taking a required class on the Science of Reading (SOR). At times, the two seem to be at odds with each other. I researched and found decodable readers (recommended by SOR) aligned with our Letterland phonics program.
I am requesting 6 packs of decodable readers that are published by Letterland.
These will be used in small-group instruction. The vocabulary in these books is controlled to cover the sounds and skills that have been taught. They will be taken home so my kinderkids can demonstrate to parents what they are learning in the classroom.
