My Project
As a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher, I've always been passionate about teaching Consumer Education. I've found that one of the most effective ways to make complex topics like financial literacy engaging is through gamification.
For years, classic board games like The Game of Life and Monopoly have been invaluable tools in my classroom, helping students learn about budgeting, debt, and investments in a fun, interactive way.
These games turn abstract concepts into tangible experiences, providing a safe space for students to practice real-world financial decisions.
Now that my classes have grown, so has the need for more resources. To expand our learning and introduce new concepts, I'm requesting a collection of board games focused on financial literacy. Your donation will help provide games like Payday, which will allow more students to actively participate and deepen their understanding of consumer economics.
With these games, we can continue to foster a love for learning and equip our students with the skills they need to navigate the financial world successfully, long after they leave the classroom.
