This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Rainy day recesses present unique challenges, and I want to turn these indoor moments into opportunities for growth and fun with a new project on DonorsChoose. My goal is to provide a variety of engaging board games and magnet tiles that will not only entertain but also foster creativity and strategic thinking among students. Board games are more than just play; they enhance critical thinking, social skills, and teamwork. Magnet tiles offer an interactive way to explore geometry and design, encouraging students to use their imagination and problem-solving abilities in a hands-on way.

By incorporating these resources, I aim to create a more organized and stimulating environment during indoor recess.

Students will have access to well-organized game stations and building sets that will keep them engaged and productive, even on the dreariest days. Your support in this project will help transform these rainy days into a vibrant, creative space where students can learn, collaborate, and have fun, turning an indoor recess into an enriching experience.
