This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goal is to create classroom Rainy Day Stations that offer engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for students when inclement weather keeps them indoors. Each box will be filled with hands-on activities that promote creativity, collaboration, and exposure to a variety of sensory driven activities. These will include a variety of STEAM-focused materials (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math), as well as sensory play options. Examples of items include:

Small and large LEGO sets

Kinetic sand kits

Marble maze games

Age-appropriate games

Creative building and art materials
