My Project
Elementary students need some time to relax and take a break from their academic day. I would love to give them a rainbow rug to sit on for the first 10 minutes of art class. I usually teach a mini lesson at the beginning of every class. Students would be able to sit close on a rug and get the introduction lesson before branching out into the art centers.
Students will get a break in their day to sit on the rug.
Students will also use the rug when creating in the architecture center. I hope this space will also serve kids who need a break from the traditional desk they sit in in their regular classrooms.
