Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our kindergarten classroom is currently made up of 18 students in a Title I School. Many of our students speak or are learning English as a second language. I also teach special needs students that need extra help finding what they need to learn. Even though most of the students lack the extras at home that many children have, they come to school excited to learn. They have come so incredibly far with their learning this year.
These students come in the door each day enthusiastic to find out what new things they will be learning, they are full of life.
They always give learning all they have.
My Project
Most of my students come to school without preschool experience. Many are learning a new language as well. The colored drawers will be a great visual to help them find the center materials they will need. The activities stored in the drawers will be based on the students individual ability levels therefore learning will be much more fun for the student. Thank you so much for considering making learning fun and easy for these awesome students. The drawers will also be used for many years because they are very durable. You will be helping lots of great students. Thank you!
