Help me give my students colorful sheets of paper for activity tasks to use in the classroom and to send as important stand-out newsletters for parent communication.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Napoleon Hill wrote, "Every adversity, every failure, every heartache carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit"
Although my students have hardships, it does not damper their love for learning.
My students are enthusiastic learners and are beginning to understand and appreciate their environment and the world they live in. Growing up in the inner city, does not define who they will become. They have a love for learning that floors me daily. No obstacle can get in their way of success.
My Project
Many students voiced that they learn best when they work with their hands and with the help of images or visual aids, according to an in-class survey taken earlier this year. The paper will be used to print out various fun activities such as math task cards, puzzles, and words sorts to help improve their learning.
The colorful paper will help keep their items organized in partnerships and make it easier to store during independent work time.
Additional paper will help support communication between the teacher and families to send and organize important notices or forms that are sent home.
