My Project
Students will engage in a creative and expressive art project where they will use a variety of materials—including paint markers, construction paper, acrylic paint, and other mixed media—to design an abstract self-portrait that reflects their unique identity. This project encourages students to explore different artistic techniques and color theory while experimenting with shapes, patterns, and textures to represent their emotions, personality, and inner world in a non-literal way. Through this hands-on process, students will develop both technical art skills and a deeper understanding of abstract expression as a powerful form of self-representation.
