I teach in a small town where everyone knows everyone! I know many of the parents because my daughter graduated last year from the district. I just started teaching in this AWESOME district and I LOVE everything about this small town! The students are so polite and so enthusiastic about coming to school. I want my students to have every resource they can get so they can reach for the STARS!
By donating to our "cause" this equipment might give a student(s) an opportunity to be good at something without even knowing that this sport was out there.
My Project
We want the students to play Eclipse Ball which requires volleyball nets, courts, tennis rackets and Eclipse Balls. It's such a fun and rewarding game because we can modify the rules to whatever we want so the students are successful. The PE Dept. wants to incorporate other sports besides the "traditional" ones everyone plays.
This game will promote sportsmanship, teamwork and communication which many students today lack.
I want students to be able to talk to each other and solve problems but also have fun doing the task. This is a fun game and I'm excited for them to play it!
