My Project
My steel drum students often perform at outside venues and do a lot of packing and traveling. Packing up the drums can be tedious and must be done carefully so that the instruments are cared for. Our class is one of the only classes in the district that sets up and tears down for every class. Even though it takes a bit of time, it allows all the ensembles that rehearse in my room to share the space.
A well-made rolling shelf that can withstand weather and constant use would allow us to pack up quickly and safely daily.
Also, the shelves are the dimensions fit on the lift gate of our truck and will enable us to travel safely and efficiently.
Portability is crucial for our workflow, and these items would really help us!
