My students need materials that lend to center-based learning to encourage and build stronger reading skills.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Boula's classroom raised $213
This project is fully funded
I am a fourth grade teacher in a rural, Title I school in North Carolina. I teach my students all subject areas.
We want children to race to reading! I want to help get students excited about reading as well as build on their reading skills in a fun and interesting way. I want to encourage center-based learning as a way for my students to explore the world of reading.
I chose several games that could be used in centers in the classroom. I do a lot of small group learning, so these materials will aide in that type of instruction. I chose specific games that follow what my students will need to know. I also chose grammar materials because this is a weak area for my students. The quiz game will be a great and exciting way to review and help students master key reading skills. These materials will get kids motivated to read, which will help to improve their reading skills.
Please help me in making students stronger and more thoughtful readers. With your help, we can incorporate center-based instruction into fourth grade reading as well as help to motivate students to want to read and build upon their reading skills.
