My Students
Learning in our own way is one of the strategies we use to provide flexibility in our classroom. My co-teacher and I would like to provide the tools needed for students to succeed by providing an environment for students to learn to the best of their ability. My co-teacher and I would like to provide a safe, comfortable and homey environment that makes learning welcoming each and every day.
My fourth graders come from a diverse school community of about 600 students.
Together, we are all part of the largest elementary school in our district. These amazing fourth graders continue to inspire me with their desire to learn, and it is my job to find a way to make it.
My Project
After we have been through the ups and downs of the previous school year and this year, we would like to celebrate the end of the year with a "checkered flag". Following our restrictions in our classroom, we still like to have fun and fun is what we want to have with ending our school year. This year we, as a school, have decided to do a school wide transformation with each classroom picking their theme to celebrate the end of the school year. I have decided that racing will be our go to theme with the avid racing/sports fans within my classroom. I can't wait to surprise them with this project! Thank you for your consideration!
