My Project

Students will learn about the career of architecture by reading about the successes of Philip Freelon, Paul R. Williams and Zaha Hadid.

After reading about these three remarkable architects, students will design sustainable living communities and other projects using computer applications such as Google Sheets and materials including recycled cardboard and Chompsaws kid-safe cardboard cutting table saw and other tools.

Students will use inspirations from the culturally and racially diverse architects, math and science skills and cooperative learning skills to work together to design and build structures to reimagine their communities and the future.
