This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will keep enhancing the print-rich as well as inclusive environment I try to establish in the classroom. My students really appreciate the library in my classroom, where we sometimes read together and other times they work and read independently. Every student book that is added to my library is given loving care and appreciation. All of these books were selected with my students in mind as I have observed them reading books with similar titles and interests over the past few months of school.
These racial justice books will allow students to continue to enjoy solo reading time and foster a lifelong love of reading and learning.
Flexible seating options will encourage my students to discover their most calming, fruitful, and concentrated location as well as help them identify the best working environment when they are learning.
