it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help me motivate my transitional kindergarten students to do their best every day by providing dry erase boards, markers and erasers, baby wipes, and printer ink.
My students are just turning 5 years old.
Some of them are typical learners, some are just learning English for the first time, and some of them have learning disabilities. Many of them receive free or reduced price lunch because their families live below the poverty line. All of them enjoy school and come each day with an eagerness to learn and participate in our class activities.
My Project
I am requesting dry erase boards, markers and erasers. We will use these to practice printing, sight words, and math. They are wonderful motivators for young children because they are colorful and easy to use. It is fun to write and easily erase what you have written. I am also requesting baby wipes and printer ink. With a room full of germs, the wipes will keep our tables clean and our bodies healthy. The printer ink will be used to print out flashcards for sight word, alphabet and numeral practice. These items are not provided as regular supplies by our school district, so I am asking for your help.
