My Project
Hi, I'm an EIP teacher trying to raise money to buy headphones for my students so they can listen to books read to them. The majority of my class is made up of kindergartners and first graders. Many of my students come from low-income families, so this would help to create a more equal learning environment in the classroom.
When we're working with technology, we sometimes have trouble transitioning, and I think that headphones might help with that.
Students also sometimes use headphones during math class while practicing skills that need extra attention. While using the Math app, students need to listen to a person telling them what to do. Headphones help students pay attention and follow along more easily.
Headphones will be a game changer for my students so please consider helping me fund this project.
