This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year, I have a very active group of future kindergartners. They are busy and moving all day. During quiet time, many will try to relax their bodies, but their minds need stimulation.

My students are perpetually curious and need challenges to inspire critical thinking.

I introduced my students to inexpensive speed cubes from the dollar store and they were so excited about solving the puzzles. However, after only a few minutes, pieces began falling off and it was clear, in order to stand the test of time, my students would need more durable. speed puzzles to solve. The speed puzzles found in this project will last and provide stimulating play.
