This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My class loves working in centers. One of the centers that has been hard to use this year is a listening center due to the fact that most students cannot afford headphones.
I know that my students will benefits immensely from headphones to use for listening centers.
Listening centers open up so many possibilities including listening to a story we are reading in class. Also, playing educational games in math, reading, social studies and science.
Having a class set of headphones will increase engagement in my class and ensure that we have equity.
