My Students

My first graders are amazing! They are fun, energetic, and very creative kids who love to move around the classroom! They are a special bunch because we have a regular general ed classroom with some special needs students as well. They are all very loving and patient with each other. This class loves to move and study wild things! They move around a lot through the classroom during various workshop settings throughout the day! We have a lot of fun together!

My Project

Please help create a quiet learning environment for my students! I have 27 students and they are grouped into 4 tables. Everyone has their own desk and chair. The floor is tile. As a class we move back-and-forth from the carpet area to their desks quite frequently. As you can imagine, it gets very noisy sometimes when everyone is moving their chairs. When I try to teach to the whole group, kids make a lot of noise in their chairs. I could really use these quiet gliders for our chairs! Everyone can focus better when it’s quiet! Thank you!
