Help me give my students an Area Rug, Headphones and Whisper Phones for a focused environment where they can immerse themselves in their books without distraction during independent reading.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Headphones help to minimize distractions by allowing students to listen to their online lessons. This personal sound barrier not only enhances concentration but also fosters a quieter classroom atmosphere, benefiting all students to complete their own lessons.
Whisper phones are small, handheld devices that help students hear their own reading voices more clearly without disturbing others.
By using whisper phones during independent reading time, students can focus on their own reading without the need to speak aloud, thus contributing to a quieter classroom environment.
A small carpet designated for independent reading time! This cozy space offers students a comfortable spot to immerse themselves in their books while promoting a quieter environment. By having a dedicated reading area, we aim to enhance the reading experience and encourage a love for learning in our students.
