Help me give my students a quiet beginning in the mornings. We hope to provide students with a quiet place equipped with sensory toys, a listening station for relaxation music or noise-cancelling headphones.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are eager to learn and love coming to school. Some of our students may have more difficult situations at home that can create some stress in the morning. We are hoping to provide these students with a soothing place to reground themselves and get ready for the school day.
This will help them start off on the right foot and transition to class in a calm and productive way.
We are hoping to provide a variety of sensory toys, soft plush toys as well as a listening station with headphones and soothing music.
