Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have many new arrival students who are eager to learn English but who also need access to books in their native language. The biographies (Spanish editions) will be used during our biography unit. I need class sets of Fish in a Tree and Because of Mr Terrupt because we use them for novel studies. Adding new books requires storage so the book bins will help with that. All of the books on my list will provide access to great literature!

To create a home-like environment, the map of the world will be used to identify places where my students were born.

To incentivize and address active bodies- the stickers and fidgets as well as seating will help my movers and shakers.
