Help me give my students agility ladders so they can improve speed, accuracy, proprioceptive input, brain focus, coordination, aerobic capacity, and muscular endurance.

My Students
This is my first year teaching at our school. I already feel like I am at home. Our students and staff create a culture of high expectations with care and respect. Every day I am greeted by happy students eager to learn and wanting to be challenged.
As a teacher, it is incredible to walk into a school where students are excited to learn.
My students play a variety of sports and/or participate in many physical activities outside of school. I want to challenge my students to try new sports, fitness challenges, and lifelong activities that will encourage physical literacy for life. I want my students to grow up with the knowledge, skills, and love for being healthy and a lifelong mover.
My Project
Agility ladders can be used for many tasks in a quality physical education program. Students will learn foot drills in a variety of levels. Students will start out slowly while learning accuracy first with spatial awareness. As students improve accuracy, they will be challenged to improve their speed. These ladders also adjust to have hurdles, so students can challenge their vertical agility too.
Ladder drills have many brain benefits along with improved overall fitness.
Students will be engaging their brain and focus when adding math fluency skills to ladder drills. Students in lower levels will practice skip counting each box. Students in the older levels will be shown a math fluency cards to process while working on agility. Students will also improve their brain and body connection with proprioceptive input.
