Quenching Thirst & Encouraging Engagement

Help me give my students water bottles and other essential classroom supplies to ensure their basic needs are met first and so they can stay focused and engaged.

My Project

In the fall our preschool program will not only get a new set of students, but we are also adding an additional classroom. With that being said, we are in need of some extra supplies to ensure that our students' needs are met and that our environment is engaging for these little learners!

The main goal of this project is to recieve 3 class sets of water bottles.

Our students do not have access to a water fountain in the classroom and our nearest one is quite the distance from our classrooms. While some students bring a water bottle from home, we want to ensure that all of our students have one available to them. Students learn best when their basic needs are met, so if a child is thirsty, we want to meet that need in order for them to be the most successful learner they can be.

In addition to the water bottles, I would like to get a few additional supplies for our classroom that will promote engagement. Our young students learn so much through play and creativity so it is important that we give them sensory opportunities such as tracing letters in shaving cream and using dot markers to play bingo or create artwork. Each of these supplies will be put to good use in order to give our students the best materials possible to learn through play and quality experiences!
