My students struggle with learning foreign languages because they come to high school never having learned them before.
My students come from low-income families, and having never traveled much outside of their city or state, many do not see the value of learning a foreign language.
I want them to understand that learning a foreign language can open up new worlds and help them better understand the differences of others.
My Project
Having access to different mediums through which they can learn the language will excite my students. With Scholastic magazines like Que Tal? and Ahora, they will read more in Spanish, build their Spanish reading and writing skills, and explore new worlds too.
Donate to my project to help my students learn a new language in a fun way.
They will learn more about the things that go on outside of their city and state borders and become more worldly citizens too!
