This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Many of our students do not have their own computers, or tablets to assist in their distance learning. Our students miss school very much, for some we are their only constant. Not having school every day is having a great impact on them socially and emotionally!

My Project

My students have been quarantined inside for nearly 4 months with very little social contact with others. These items will help them cope with their feelings of anxiety and stress, and just give them another outlet for their piles of energy. They can blow bubbles and see the wind take them away, they can count by 5 or 2's while the punch their punch ball, or write down their questions, thoughts, or concerns, in their notepads. These few items can change the world for so many of my scholars, and let them know We CARE
