My Students
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted my students tremendously. Being that we had to turn to distance learning instead of the normal face-to-face schooling between teacher and students has been devastating to us all. We are in a rural area and most of my students are from single-parent families where they have no laptops, tablets, or iPads to access I-Ready or any other learning or educational program online. So, therefore, they are in dire need of any type of technology they can get so that they can keep learning while this pandemic has us all at home.
My Project
These materials will help in making a child's future shine bright. The iPad will enable a less fortunate child the opportunity to be a part of distance learning and still be a part of the learning process. He/she will be able to stay abreast of his/her classwork as well as keep up with those students who have the technology needed to be successful in school. This iPad will be beneficial to a child who is less fortunate. He/she will greatly appreciate it to the fullest. The iPad will help to ensure that learning is taking place.
