Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My school services low-income minority students, mostly Latino and Black with a small ratio coming from other places in the world. Many were not born here, and Most have parents who speak little to know English.

This has made exposing them to the many types of art even more worth wild.

My Project

I have tons of creative students who want to create art and I want to show them how technology can do just that. During this Quarantine, some of them have experienced having several trials due to COVID 19. So for the rest of the school year, while we do Distant learning and into the next school year, I want to do more narrative-driven art that Focuses on Social Emotional experiences.

I have some students that are awesome at Digital Art!

Some of who I know have been dealing with a lot and need a creative release. I will be designing multi-media projects that allow them to create pieces of art to help with their healing. Focused on how the emotions they are currently experiencing.

But some don't have the necessary tech to do it at home. The school district has lent out some to don't have any form of technology at home. I want to give the few that I know who have gifted the means to do so.
