My Students
My students are all struggling writers. The need to see what good writing looks like to help them excel.
These students meet with me in small groups each day to work on becoming a better writer who can express ideas clearly.
They work hard to learn the traits of good writing. However, they often struggle with idea generation. Another area that they struggle with is idea development.
My Project
The resources I am requesting will aide in my instruction of writing. The vocabulary books will be used to supplement instruction. I have found that when kids play with therapy putty in one hand, then they are able to focus on getting words on the page.
This project is important to me because these young writers deserve quality writing instruction.
These materials will definitely help me deliver my instruction in a more helpful and informed manner.
