Did you ever learn how to paint in middle school? Many people have had different art experiences and many of my students have had limited exposure to the arts, as well as accessibility to art materials like quality paint brushes.
My middle school students love painting and learning how to paint with specific tools and techniques.
They build their confidence, as well as develop an appreciation for the painting process. I have witnessed how art can transform a student's life by exposing them to materials and projects they have never done before, which provides them with a creative, enriching art experience.
My Project
My students need quality paint brushes that can are economical and durable for everyday classroom use. My students will have quality brushes for their upcoming projects, which will make a huge, positive impact on the quality of the work. I see 150 students a day and our brushes get worn out quickly and need to be replaced often. We have a limited art budget, whereas almost all of our funding comes from parents at our school, so every donation makes a huge difference and offers opportunities to my amazing students.
