My Project
My students live in a high poverty area and dedicate little to no money on classroom resources such as writing utilities or paper. Their basic needs are barely met at home, so buying material for classwork is not exactly what is on their minds.
The compasses requested are metallic and are a good value.
Usually, students would obtain a compass from the dollar store. These compasses are frustrating to use and do not reflect tools used in the actual workspace. I would like to remove this extra burden from them by supplying them with, not only the proper materials, but some of the better materials that exist so that they can reach their full potential, such as these quality compasses.
