This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am always on the lookout for products that will deliver high engagement in my classroom. Additionally, having students fully masked in the classroom has provided a unique obstacle of muffled, hard-to-hear voices. The Qball is my solution to wavering engagement and having to ask students to repeat themselves over and over again (which can be very embarrassing to self-conscious pre-teens). The Q-Ball Wireless Microphone System is a soft, throwable ball that has a built-in microphone/Wireless Microphone System, and a speaker that will amplify my student's voices. I believe it's important for all students to be heard no matter where they sit in the room, and how thick their mask is. I plan on using this for daily discussion related to English/History and Art as well as for our more silly or vulnerable conversations in Advisory class.
