Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
"I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for." Georgia O'Keeffe
Colors and shapes help children adopt high-level logic skills.
Matching includes understanding concepts like "different" and "same," learning how to count, and recognizing letters/numbers.
I want to use these PVC elbow joints for an engaging matching and sensory activity. We will have six colors colors to match with corresponding colored balls or beanbags. This activity aims to help participants develop their color recognition and coordination skills by matching the colored balls or beanbags with the correct colored PVC elbow joint.
