My Project
During the past few years, I've noticed that students need more socialization than ever. Health concerns and other COVID-related issues kept many families away from parks and crowded functions. Puzzles, being both motivating and challenging, demand collaboration from my young students.
Last year my students loved working on puzzles!
They chose them over other engaging activities like magna-tiles and iPads. If a student was struggling alone, they would recruit friends to help them out. Then, when they were finished, they would demand a picture where they posed proudly in the background. Unfortunately, the daily wear and tear left me with a pretty ragged-looking collection. I would love to replace my most popular and beaten-up puzzles so that my new incoming students can enjoy the pride of completing an entire puzzle without the frustration of missing or broken pieces.
