My Students
Our classroom serves children with significant support needs.
Our students enjoy getting to work in small groups and one-on-one with the adults who work within our program.
They attend their social studies, science and electives classes. The students benefit from these learning opportunities both socially and academically.
My Project
Visual performance activities encourages students to develop skills that transfer to life skills and vocational skills. My students need access to 11 age-appropriate puzzles in order to work on visual performance skills. Age-appropriate images encourage same-aged peers to interact with each other. Puzzles can also introduce students to a new leisure skill.
These puzzles will give a fresh, more engaging look to our puzzle collection.
As humans, we are always more interested in things that are new and more engaging. The students need to practice visual-performance skills, and this project will give them a new opportunity to do so.
More than half of students from low‑income households
