Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In order to teach in small groups, remaining students must be able to work independently. Worksheets only go so far. Students need activities in between coloring, writing, and worksheets that challenge their critical thinking skills.
Puzzles and games are a great way for children to learn teamwork, taking turns, logical thinking, conversation skills, and academic skills.
These puzzles and games allow students to learn either reading or math skills with self-checking ability. There's no point in practicing skills incorrectly! Students need immediate feedback and these games and puzzles supply it.
Students can also practice without fear of being singled out or embarrassed.
